         The July 1997 Netcraft Web Server Survey is out;

      1,203,096 sites responded; 

      Over 91,000 switch to Apache/1.2.0 in its first month

      First public beta of Microsoft-IIS/4.0 made available

      RapidSite has 2.3% of the Survey. RapidSite is a large
      virtual hosting system probably running Apache/1.2.0 with
      customised HTTP headers. The Rapidsite numbers are not
      included in the total for Apache.

Not bad.

Certainly running Apache, not only because it looks that way but they say
so on their web pages.

If you add the 27860 running RapidSite (most of which were likely
reporting as Apache before) we end up with a nice positive change and a
good margin over 500k.
