lucene synchronous indexes

I'm keen on trying out the synchronous lucene index, but the
documentation referenced in the jira issues at
https://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/Synchronous%20Lucene%20Property%20Indexes
seems to be closed?

Is that documentation mirrored elsewhere?

The Wiki was closed & archived in 2019; maybe you can find something
over here: <https://jackrabbit.apache.org/archive/wiki/JCR/Home_70731.html>.
