When compiling XercesLib.mak using visual studio 8 build environment on amd64 machine, I am getting following errror:

Hi Sameer,
please use the solution found in the VC7.1 directory (selecting the Win64 configuration), as the XercesLib.mak could be outdated, and let us know if it works.

You need to remove the option that treats wchar_t as a built-in type:

1. Open the project properties for the XercesLib target
2. Click on the C/C++ tab.
3. Click on the Language tab.
4. Change the option "Treat wchar_t as Built-in Type" to "no"

Make sure you do this for all of the targets you want to build.

Hi Alberto,

I tried your suggestion. 

XercesLib.vcproj file in vc7 directory does not have win64 configuration. I used win32 configuration and defined win64. It results in same error.
