BXE together with Jetty

I have inserted a "bypass pipeline" into Lenya's global sitemap such
that BXE now also works with Jetty, but you need to reconfigure it a bit
afer updating your local CVS workspace:

src/webapp/global-sitemap.xmap
------------------------------

for instance:

     <!-- Editor BXE -->
     <map:pipeline>
       <map:match pattern="bxeng/**">
         <map:read src="/home/michi/src/bxeng/{1}"/>
       </map:match>
     </map:pipeline>

src/webapp/lenya/pubs/blog/sitemap.xmap
---------------------------------------

for instance:

     <!-- BX Editor: Entries -->
     <map:pipeline>
       <map:match pattern="*/entries/*/*/*/*/index-bxeng.html">
         <map:act type="resource-exists"
src="/home/michi/src/bxeng/index.html">

I have just tested it for the Blog publication.

The file

src/webapp/lenya/resources/misc/bxeng/index.xhtml

does NOT need to be modified, since it's already using the ROOT context.

The above modifications should be improved and made more user-friendly,
but at least it's working as a first step. As always, any help is
appreciated.

Thanks

Michi

these paths are not within CVS. It's just an example I gave on the
mailing list.

can't we make it relative instead of absolute?

sure you can

no. Have you tried it out yet?

This is just an intermediate solution to make people happy using Jetty.
I guess it's always a mistake trying to make other people happy.

please, no more of these. can't we make it relative instead of absolute?

also, does this solution mean you have to change paths in every
bxeng-related sitemap?
