Is there a limit on the number of users?

HI all,

just started using James and it works fine, although slow at processing the
emails. However, I seem to have a 
scalability problem with James. As soon as i add a lot of users e.g. 50 then
the thing seems to stop working. The 
dos window in which the run.bat is running shows a Error in processor
NumberFormatException and the mails go nowhere.

Is there a limit to the number of users of is this a bug. I'm running this
on NT4 sp6.
