On UI, the Association of tags happens very fast and the propagation goes in the background as deferred action. Users might get confused as to why the tags are not propagated yet. it would be good to add a notification or a popup saying the propagation is yet to complete.

Create a Tasks tabs on the Entity Detail page, which shows the deferred task.
