Hi @mike-tutkowski thanks for the details in the jira ticket and the pr. From a quick look it looks good but when i'm at my laptop again I will run some generic tests. The managed storage itself I cannot test but I trust you for that. Is there any test results you can share?

I liked that ordering better...seems more logical: 1) customized IOPS
(true/false), 2) Min IOPS, and 3) Max IOPS (2 and 3 are ignored by the
backend if 1 is true).

What I did was run a Marvin test I have that creates a VM whose root disk is placed on managed storage. The test then creates a hypervisor snapshot of the VM.
Before my Marvin changes, the test was failing (and the root disk was being corrupted). Now that Marvin has been enhanced, the hypervisor snapshot reserve value is being passed to CloudStack from Marvin successfully and the overall test passes.
The hypervisor snapshot reserve field is ignored by non-managed storage, so this change should not impact that type of storage.
