Can't add nodes

Why is it that none of the nodes I add using NamespaceAccessToken inside my
authentication "Realm" class are reflected back in the actual namespace.
When I hit the application with a web folder in "My Network Places" or IE, I
cannot see any of my newly created nodes.

Can anyone answer this for me?
