> asterix-om/src/main/java/org/apache/asterix/om/base/temporal/GregorianCalendarSystem.java is based on Joda-Time (http://www.joda.org/joda-time/). However, the Joda-Time page suggests to move to java.time starting with Java SE 8. So we should think about moving (if we can depend on Java 8 only).
