www/people.apache.org/keys/committer is sometims emptied ;
always when there is problem with LDAP,
and sometimes even when there is no problem with LDAP.

Please check that the script that maintains www/people.apache.org/keys/committer doesn't empty that directory if/wen the ldap connection fails.
