server wide "Default from e-mail address for notifications"?

any chance to set server wide "Default from e-mail address for
notifications"?
I want all the emails look like sent from system admin so I can hide the
field in user settings.

Each individual blog can set the "from address" for comment
notification emails, but there is currently no way to set a site-wide
from address.
