Site wide bayes for virtual users
Could a debug message which says something along the lines of 'sa-learn
stopping since use_bayes is 0' be added to sa-learn? This would seem
obvious, but my problem was as follows:
I have a mail server with virtual users where each user has their
spamassassin preferences stored in sql. I want to site up a site wide
bayes db, but first wanted to test it with one user. So I added the
bayes_path to a site wide db into my config file, changed the user prefs
to 'use_bayes 1' for a user and went to create the bayes database as
root...which didn't work. I though the 'use_bayes' option was only
relevent when scanning mail, and didn't even think that it would be the
reason I couldn't create a database. Running sa-learn with -D gave
absolutely nothing useful, when a simple line like above would have
saved me playing with paths and permissions and users etc.
