WikitionaryEditEvents.txt is not valid JSON, so when the unit test(s) for samza-hello-samza try to parse them, they throw some exceptions. The test(s) don't actually seem to depend on the invalid entries, since they just get ignored and the validation still succeeds, but there are a bunch of exceptions printed to stderr, which is noisy and misleading.
