In need of mentors
Hello all.
I'm looking for champion/mentors who can leads the Hama incubation
proposal process (http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/HamaProposal).
Also, If i can donate directly to this project as a sub-project, we'll
appreciate.
I would appreciate any advice you could give me.
Thanks,

That would be my advice as well. Donate your code, keep
working on it and aim to become a Mahout committer. Unless
you're prepared to spend a lot of time on this, I would advise
against trying to go through the incubator with such a
specialized project. Your user community would also be
better served because your code could be vetted in Mahout
a lot faster than in the incubator. So it's just easier
all around ;-)
If it turns out that Hama does not fit well with Mahout,
you can still go forward with the incubator proposal.

I think, if there is an insterest from your side to donate it to Mahout
and there is a match with Hama, your code would be voted in.
Mahout is already implementing an instance data matrix (MAHOUT-6) but is
not limited to the physical storage (MAHOUT-7).
If you want, create a JIRA issue explaining the how Hama differs from
what is beeing discussed in Mahout. It is of course also very
interesting to know, so please make a note if there are any specific
algoriths you were hoping to build and relase with ASL using Hama.
