[jira] Created: (DIRSTUDIO-637) copy/paste of attributes no longer
works
copy/paste of attributes no longer works
----------------------------------------
Key: DIRSTUDIO-637
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-637
Project: Directory Studio
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.5.2
Environment: Ubuntu 9.1, running the real SUN JRE (1.6.0_18) on an x86/i686 platform
Reporter: Brent Bice
I've been running DirectoryStudio version 1.3.0 for ages now and just recently downloaded and installed 1.5.2. But I found that when I searched for some records, selected one, then selected one or more attributes in the Entry editor, selected another record and tried to paste those attributes, it appears to work - the GUI shows the new attributes but no change is actually made to the LDAP record. If I press F5 to refresh the record the newly pasted attribute/value pair disappear.
I'll try to track down the specific release where the bug starts to appear.

Fix Version/s: 1.5.3
Thanks for the report. In 1.5.0 we made major changes in the editor, very likely it was introduced there.

It appears the bug is NOT in version ApacheDirectoryStudio-linux-x86-1.4.0.v20090407 but IS in version 1.5.0...
