can't finalize upgrade in Ambari 2.1

I’ve done a rolling upgrade from HDP2.2 to HDP2.3. The final ‘finalize upgrade’ step failed, with
a message that one of my nodes was not upgraded and I needed to install and upgrade the
stack on that host. 

However, that host looks correct to me. The /usr/hdp/current links are correct, the 2.3 services
are running on that node. Every service is up.

What do I do to convince Ambari that the upgrade is complete?

Hi Brian,

Take a look at the SQL queries at the end of this doc to find out which
component did not get upgraded.

That can pinpoint the failure so you can fix it in Ambari (usually through
hdp-select and restarting the component via Ambari).
