config tomcat 4.0.1 under linux

i'm using tomcat4.0.1 and j2sdk 1.4.0 for linux.
my problem is that "The requested resource
(/var/tomcat4/work/localhost/_/Privacy675/top$jsp.java
(No such file or directory)) is not available."
this occurs when i'm trying to display jsp pages.

for tomcat 4.0.1, i had installed only the
tomcat4-4.0.1-1.noarch.rpm package.
In /var/tomcat4, there is a work directory, but it is empty.
