   To extend on what Homer said, you have to make sure you're using a version of Safari for Mac that is compatible with Safari for iOS to do remote debugging.
   
   I suggest ensuring that you're mac is completely up to date (including OS upgrades). Sometimes if you're testing with the most recent iOS version, you have to use the [Safari Tech Preview](https://developer.apple.com/safari/technology-preview/) instead of the stable production version of Safari.
