Brent Bice commented on DIRSTUDIO-637:
--------------------------------------

It appears the bug is NOT in version ApacheDirectoryStudio-linux-x86-1.4.0.v20090407 but IS in version 1.5.0...

> Project: Directory Studio
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 1.5.2
> Environment: Ubuntu 9.1, running the real SUN JRE (1.6.0_18) on an x86/i686 platform

> I've been running DirectoryStudio version 1.3.0 for ages now and just recently downloaded and installed 1.5.2. But I found that when I searched for some records, selected one, then selected one or more attributes in the Entry editor, selected another record and tried to paste those attributes, it appears to work - the GUI shows the new attributes but no change is actually made to the LDAP record. If I press F5 to refresh the record the newly pasted attribute/value pair disappear.
> I'll try to track down the specific release where the bug starts to appear.
