>
> Key: VCL-433
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VCL-433
> Project: VCL
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: web gui (frontend)
> Affects Versions: 2.1, 2.2
> Reporter: Josh Thompson
> Assignee: Josh Thompson
> Fix For: 2.2.2, 2.3

> The code is written so that if someone tries to save a new revision of a kickstart image, it will be allowed. All the right things happen so that the new revision can be deployed. However, the kickstart revision can no longer be deployed because the OSid is changed to an image type instead of a kickstart type. The frontend needs to be updated to force a new image to be created if the imaging reservation is for a kickstart image.
