First-chance exception in CPLSERVER.exe (XERCES-C_1_7_0D.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation.

Hi, 
I am trying to use xerces parser library in my own application. I have
downloaded xerces-c-src1_7_0. 
1. I built the XercesLib files in the debug mode. 
2. I have added the path to the DLL and LIB files to my system path. 
3. I modified the include files and library files list of MSVC also
accordingly. 
4. The settings of my new project which also resides in XERCES-ALL
workspace, are same as that for other samples. 
5. Now I am building my project and executing it. 
6. It builds properly, but while executing it gives me the following
errors and the execution terminates. 
7. If I take the EXE produced by MSVC and run it form command prompt,
the application works perfectly.

0xC0000005: Access Violation.
 
 
Could someone help me finding a solution for this,
