problems installing libapreq2-2.04-dev

I had same problems installing libapreq2-2.04-dev: when executing "make test" I had the following error messages:

Skip the test suite? [No] No
make[1]: *** [run_tests] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/libapreq2-2.04-dev/env'
make: *** [env_test] Error 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did anyone have the same problem ?
Any hint is apreciated.
