Hi!
I have just tried to install Apache 1.1.1.
I have properly edited the Configuration file
with CC=cc and set the AIX compilation flags.
Then I have typed Configure, and then make.
make seems to go OK until it reaches file
http_bprintf.c where I get the following error message:

modifiable lvalue.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.

Any hint if I'm doing something wrong?

Hi Alex. That's interesting that you get that problem; we haven't seen it on
any of the systems we in the development team use, though I don't think any of
us are on AIX and we don't have a precompiled binary for it. Have you tried
compiling with GCC? Have you tried modifying the syntax of that line to get
the intended effect? Anyways, I've added this to our bug database, so please
keep us informed of problems.
