java one

I just noticed there is a session on OJB at Java one this year (in June). I'm surprised I didn't see anything about it on the list....

Does anyone know who is giving the presentation or what they are going to talk about? I live in the area (east bay) and would have like to have been involved.

cheers,
Matthew

Better get used to it ;-)

This is happening for Ant since a few years, same for Tomcat, Struts
and others. The fate of all popular open source projects.

You will even see people writing books on OJB, people you've never
heard of.

Hi Matthew,

I was not contacted by anyone regarding SUN ONE.
By Googling the web I found that OJB is getting quite popular at all
those software conferences and magazines.

Some of the speakers and authors contact me in advance and ask me for
input or if I could review their stuff. Of course this is my preferred
approach.
But most of them never contact me and I have no idea what they are
telling their audience....

I also found out that there is a growing number of programmers and
consultants who mention OJB skills in their resumes.
Maybe we should start a "certified OJB developer" certification program? ;-)

cheers,
Thomas
