Nutch web services

Hi

Might have asked this before, but has anyone developed web services for
nutch?  I know there are web services for Lucene, can these be used with
nutch?

Nutch has a servlet that supports A9s OpenSearch API.  Are you  
needing more capabilities than this offers?
