Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MAVEN-252
Summary: [patch] allow ejb jar final name to be overriden, in case base jar also needs to be produced
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Assigned
   Priority: Major

 Time Spent: Unknown
   Estimate: 0 minutes

    Project: maven
  Component: core

   Assignee: Jason van Zyl
   Reporter: Colin Sampaleanu

    Created: Tue, 4 Feb 2003 10:54 AM
    Updated: Tue, 4 Feb 2003 10:55 AM
Environment: CVS HEAD 2003-1-4

Description:
Currently, the ejb plugin produces an ejb jar with the same name that the java:jar goal does. If there is a need for a project to product both a base jar and ejb jar, there is no way to handle this, or to handle the name to satisfy another naming convention.

This patch introduces a property allowing the final name to be overriden.
