[Bug 124097] New: Latest AOO Versions not mentioned in
README_extension_owner.txt
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124097
Bug ID: 124097
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Latest AOO Versions not mentioned in
README_extension_owner.txt
Product: Installation
Version: 3.4.1
Hardware: All
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P3
Component: code
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: rainerbielefeld_ooo_qa@bielefeldundbuss.de
CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Steps how to reproduce with "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [Rev.
1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic”
4.0 User Profile used for all predecessor versions:
1. User Profile
<C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\uno_packages\cache\uno_packages\sv2afh2.tmp_\dict-de_DE-frami_2012-06-17.oxt>
search for *.txt
2. Check results except License documents
README_extension_owner.txt: Mentions "ApacheOpenOffice (Version 3.4)"
In others no Version mentioned
So the readme seems to say that installed dictionaries are not compatible with
AOO 4.0.1, for what they are installed.
Additional info:
----------------
(a) I found the source file "dict-de_DE-frami_2012-06-17.oxt" in
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4\share\extensions\install
(b) I found similar obsolete strings in "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English UI
/ German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1559824 - 2014-01-22]"
on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.
* README_en_AU.txt: "English (Australian) Dictionary for OpenOffice.org"
should also mention AOO
* README_extension_owner.txt: Compatibility "ApacheOpenOffice (Version 3.4)"

Rainer: if the German dictionary needs updating, just open an issue like
