[jira] [Created] (TOMEE-638) Allow resources.xml to declare Container elements

David Blevins created TOMEE-638:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Allow resources.xml to declare Container elements
                 Key: TOMEE-638
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-638
             Project: TomEE
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: David Blevins

You can do this with a connector (needed for inbound connectors). Because it isn't there it prevents a RAR from being deployed as a resources.xml instead (skipping the RAR and EAR). You have to put the <Container> element in the tomee.xml, which of course means you have to put the ResourceAdapter <Resource> declaration in the tomee.xml as well, and then you've pretty much lost the value of resources.xml at that point.
