[jira] [Resolved] (ARROW-12565) [C++][Compute] Investigate filter kernel performance regression

Yibo Cai resolved ARROW-12565.
------------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Problem

Turns out {{FilterRecordBatch*/100/*}} benchmarks have high variance. Run the test several times will see big difference.
The filter kernel performance regression (and improvement) is not true.

> ARROW-11990 refines kernel error handling. Most kernels performance are not affected. Scalar arithmetic kernels are improved. But some filter kernel performance drops after the refinement. There may be something deserves deeper investigation.
