Can somebody approve/reject patches

Dear  Project Committers,

There are couple of bugs with patches I've submitted about a month ago,
targeting reducing memory usage for applications which do a lot XSLT
transformations. 

Is it possible patches can be reviewed / applied to the source or just
rejected?
