https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128300
Issue ID: 128300
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Date formatting problem with MMMM
Product: Base
Version: 4.0.1
Hardware: All
OS: Windows 10
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: code
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: billforder@fastmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
When using the MMMM date format the data input gets changed to random date
formats
ie- different months all ending up as the same month or a ddmmyy format i'm
trying to create an MMMM formatted list box in a form. the list box is based on
a small table just for the months of the year. Its really annoying or am i
doing something wrong?
Cheers Bill Forder

Hi
I am running version 4.1.7 Base on windows 10 Home version 1909
My aim is to create a "MonthList table" for use as a list box in a form that
has 6 MMMM formatted fields in its corresponding table. I have tried setting a
primary key to the Month field (MMMM format) in the table - and setting a
separate ID field primary key (integer format) with auto entry. both ways end
up producing "December" when I attempt to input the Month names whatever month
I enter into the Month field in data entry mode.
On the surface of it it looks as tho the example given in the date format
options box has somehow become a fixed default and can't be overwritten.
Causing December to always appear after moving the focus.
The only way I am able to get a workable form is to not employ the Date format
and use text VARCHAR instead which presumably means that I will not be able
to use date based queries.
