We have deprecated HColumnDescriptor and HTableDescriptor some time back in 2.0.0. Although there are many use-cases still using them, we can start replacing them with builder pattern: ColumnFamilyDescriptorBuilder and TableDescriptorBuilder.

In an attempt to do so, starting with replacing specific constructor of HColumnDescriptor:

public HTableDescriptor(final TableName name) {
  this(new ModifyableTableDescriptor(name));
}
