Hi Jarayam,

I think we need to rearrange Jira issues a bit.
1)
The issue with the title:
"Mentoring Project for Derby Test and Fix for Jayaram Subramanian"
Should be filed under the Community Development Project and attach your proposal.
So file a new issue under community development.

2)
There should be a new DERBY issue "Convert autoincrement.sql to JUnit" and atttach your AutIncrement patch there.  So file a new issue for that.

3) Close this issue as invalid to finish the cleanup.

Meanwhile I will look at your patch.   Thanks for contributing!
