connection pool reconnect

Dear list,

I have the following problem with ojb:

We've developed a document management system for IBM AS/400. It consists
of a server process and various client processes. The server process
performs all necessary database actions and instantiates a connection
pool on startup. Every night the AS/400 machine is shutdown for backup
purposes. So the next day, the ojb connection pool is invalid (of
course). I didn't find any hints to solve this problem so far.
