Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAVEN-1052
Summary: [patch] genapp fails to filter multiple files
Type: Bug
Status: Unassigned
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: 5 minutes
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: 5 minutes
Project: maven
Assignee:
Reporter: Jörg Schaible

Description:
The maven.genapp.filter variable contains files that have to be filtered. Unfortunately this fails completely if more than one file is provided as comma-separated String (according to JSTL documentation, ch. 6.1.1). The reason is, that released Jelly versions have currently no support for this feature, a patch is pending for this (http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=JELLY-98).
The patch creates a workaround for maven.genapp.filter as it is done already for maven.genapp.repackage.
