Subversion for CVS users
I think this part of the manual is really useful and I'd like to see
it improved a little. Here are two questions I have that aren't
answered there:
- what's the equivalent to `cvs edit/watch/unedit' ?
- what's the equivalent to $CVSREAD ?
Skimming through the rest of the manual makes me think that there's
no equivalent, but I'd like to see a definitive answer.

There is no equivalent. Subversion doesn't yet support reserved
checkouts, nor does it have a 'soft-lock' system (yet) to aid
developer communication.

There is none.
But yeesh... there are a *lot* of $CVSXXX variables. Surely we don't
need to document the equivalent of every single one?

We don't have one currently.
