state of Blockers on 4.2.0
Hello all,
I was looking at our blockers for 4.2.0. I am confused atm. If I read it
right, then we have 3 Blockers for Windows and 2 for Mac 0 Linux, right?
The other open Bugs are they resolved? - For example 126762
<https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126762> seems to be fixed for
4.2., but state is still open.
I think a bit of clarity would help. I try to look at the MacOsX build next.
All the best
Peter

Agreed. This was just a first quick walkthrough. The information should
also improved.

It would be better to separate the Bugzilla resolution from other
comments. Both in the same column is misleading.

I have added some information to the Overview List, to ease the desicion
what to do next.
I also did a quick Review on each issue, and tried to add the state to
the Resolution Column.
Maybe it would be good to add somewhere a rough description what we need
to do next for each issue?
For example: "need testing on Linux, Windopws, MacOS"
or "Development (3/5) see comment 4"
What do you think?

I misinterpreted the last comment, which is clearly SPAM.

That would be great! And maybe we should backport it to AOO41X, since
this problem occurs really often.

The patch has been merged to trunk. There is a request for testing, yes.
So maybe we could test it and get it marked as fixed?

The state of the issue is "Accepted", far away from fixed...
I am not sure if further testing was done and if the last patch did make
it into code.

Yes, macOS really needs some attention.

AFAIK, issue <https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127966> has been addressed and fixed by Jim,
if not mistaken.

Yes this is the same List I look at, too. And my Question is about the
status.
If you look at the blockers flag it differs from Bugzilla. Plus some
Bugs seem to be resolved, but are marked still as open. We should check
state.

we have a list of all 4.2.0 blocker:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/Blocker+issues+4.2.0
I don't know if the data is up-to-date - especially the status - however
it gives you a better overview than the simple listing in Bugzilla.
