Looks like good idea!!!

Anyway I'll I think about it bit more and look how
it is solved in other applications.

thx!

Michal

Personnaly, I prefer to use
scp://login.ibiblio.org/public/html/maven
for put artifacts in /public/html/maven

and
scp://login.ibiblio.org/~/public/html/maven
or
scp://login.ibiblio.org/~mmackza/public/html/maven
for put artifacts in /home/mmaczka/public/html/maven

Hmm

It means that url of the repository is login.ibiblio.org
and base directory on the server is: /public/html/maven

By default base directory is set to be user home dir.

So if you will use:

scp://login.ibiblio.org/public/html/maven

wagon will put artifacts to /home/mmaczka/public/html/maven

If I will use:

scp://login.ibiblio.org//public/html/maven

wagon will put artifacts to /public/html/maven

So it means that both absolute and relative paths are allowed at the
moment.

I will have to see how does it works in case of ftp and http protocols
but it seems to me that both ways of expressing path might be useful.

Any way that's the way in which wagon works at the moment and as long as
I am not sure if this is bad or good thing I decided to support both
ways of denoting paths.

Any ideas?

Michal

Is it necessary to have a double slash between ibiblio.org and public?
I've seen you put this value in all your pom commits.
