[jira] [Commented] (GORA-485) Apache Kudu datastore for Gora

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GORA-485?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16790160#comment-16790160 ]

John Mora commented on GORA-485:
--------------------------------

Hi all. I am John Mora an Informatics Engineering undergraduate student at UTPL in Ecuador, and I would like to work on this issue during summer as a GoSC student. I have good skills on Java, Maven, JUnit and other technologies of the Java Stack. I was checking out Apache Kudu and it seems it has a SQL-based interface for handling data, are you looking for a integration at that level (SQL) or is it necessary a deeper integration through native libraries, embedding Kudu into Gora?. I am a total novice, so please could you help me with some documentation about Gora's Architecture? Or other resources in order to get started in the community.

Cheers,
 John
