My attempts at doing this have all failed (i.e., it worked fine on both
1.3.12 and 1.3.14). It's worth noting that "optimized" PDFs seem to make
the plugin behave differently to "normal" PDFs. Disabling "background
downloading" in the reader seems to make a difference too.
