[patch] improved FOR-47 fix

The attached patch is an improvement for FOR-47.  Now, you can ctrl-C in
the middle of a build, and it'll still be in the same directory
(previously, the build had to finish and then cd back to the original
directory).

Also, this allows one to run "forrest -f myfile.xml" instead of "forrest
-f d:\full\path\to\myfile.xml"
