Problems starting Slide

Hi,
I'm new to Slide and Linux.
I have a problem in starting Slide.
I'm using Linux Mandrake 9.2 and Slide 2.0b1 in bundle with Tomcat 5.0.16.
When I launch startup.sh, tomcat shows the env variables and nothing
more happens.
I looked into the .sh end found that I can launch even with the
catalina.sh.
If I execute catalina.sh run , everything run fine (apparently).
I've made a tail on catalina.out and it seems that there is an error in
finding the Domain.xml.
Can you help me?
thanks,
 Giorgio

Thanks,
   you were right.
I tryed to run bin/startup.sh becouse it is showed this way in Slide's
site installation instructions.
Probably it would be better to change this part in the doc (in any
persons that is mantaining the documentation is reading this).
Thanks again,
  Giorgio

Re: Problems starting Slide

As Slide tries to locate the Domain.xml using a relative path
(../slide/Domain.xml) be sure you are in Tomcat's bin dir when you call
startup.sh.

Does it help?

Cheers,

Oliver
