[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-817) Create Processors to interact with HBase

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-817?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14994134#comment-14994134 ]

Mark Payne commented on NIFI-817:
---------------------------------

[~bbende] - I setup a flow using the Get and Put HBase processors. To test, I downloaded the HDP Sandbox VM and deployed NiFi within that VM. I was able to push a bunch of data to HBase using the PutHBaseCell and then pull it back out via GetHBaseCell. This appears to work well. Toyed around with some settings, and things seem to function properly. I do like the approach of using the Controller Service in order to more easily support multiple versions of the HBase client. I have not yet started reviewing the code, but wanted to provide feedback that I was able to use the processors properly and the build worked well with contrib-check. Will provide any feedback that I have based on code soon.
