   Hi there @bosschaert ,
   
   please find my proposal in the commit: I did a little small amount of refactoring in order to minimise the code duplication (the `CheckApiRegions` task has a lot in common with that new task) and I also attached a unit test for validation.
   
   Please let me know what you think about it and if it requires modifications in order the PR is accepted.
