[jira] Created: (TUSCANY-365) Java SCA Container for Ruby

Java SCA Container for Ruby
---------------------------

         Key: TUSCANY-365
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-365
     Project: Tuscany
        Type: New Feature

    Versions: Java-Mx
    Reporter: Srikanth Bhattiprolu
    Priority: Minor

This is the Ruby Container for Tuscany. I just copied the complete Groovy code, change the references to Ruby and update the Script.java file to call the Ruby scripts instead. The scripts are invoked using the BSF support provided by JRuby.

Srikanth Bhattiprolu commented on TUSCANY-365:
----------------------------------------------

I do agree that we should look at the generic JSR-223 container. Would be useful to support lot more scripting languages.

I've committed this to the sandbox. Thanks Srikanth! And I agree a JSR-223 container would be interesting.

    Attachment: tuscany-container-ruby.zip

Updated the pom files to show the dependencies. Not sure how the jars need to be attached. I got the Jars from the JRuby download (http://jruby.sourceforge.net/). Will attach the jars required to run the test.
