The most recent change resolves the issue we were seeing in internal tests that would cause a hang. Thank you for your patience with this; it's been extremely difficult to try and reproduce the failure in a DUnit environment to allow for debugging, and I wish I had been able to provide you with a test that could help get to the root cause of the issue.
