[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-7243) Admin View: no way to link to instance if you create w/o a label via API

Aleksandr Kovalenko created AMBARI-7243:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Admin View: no way to link to instance if you create w/o a label via API
                 Key: AMBARI-7243
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-7243
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ambari-admin
    Affects Versions: 1.7.0
            Reporter: Aleksandr Kovalenko
            Assignee: Aleksandr Kovalenko
            Priority: Blocker
             Fix For: 1.7.0

If you create a view instance via API but do not specify label, the Admin View then results in a blank name and you can't link to it. So we cannot show blank.

The Ambari Web UI views dropdown shows a name of "Files" so there must be some logic to check for label, if not fallback to label in the view definition.

We need to be consistent with how a string shows up in the Admin View UI and what string is shown in Ambari Web UI views dropdown.
