Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0 RC3 – English UI / German
locale [AOO410m17(Build:9763)) - Rev. 1586584 2014-04-11 08:56:50]" on German
WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor
versions:
1. Open Attachment 83187 for Issue 124672
2. On Sheet2 click blue rectangle (160x50mm)
> Control points show that it is selected
3. Menu 'File -> Print (-> Printer = FreePDF) ->
Radio button = "Selected Cells" [Print]'
Result: Printout only contains rectangle, not text in cells below
So print selection also is possible for objects in the sheets, not only for
cells. The Caption of the radio button is misleading, seems to suggest that you
have to select cells "A1:G19" (what also would work) for this result.
So Caption text for radio button should be the same as in PDF Export dialog:
"Selection" instead of "Selected Cells".
Probably current text is a legacy, see "Issue 3992 - Print Selection only works
for selected cells, not other selected objects".
