[jira] [Created] (GERONIMODEVTOOLS-745) Switching JRE via server configuration causes sever startup errors

Switching JRE via server configuration causes sever startup errors
------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: GERONIMODEVTOOLS-745
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMODEVTOOLS-745
             Project: Geronimo-Devtools
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: eclipse-plugin
    Affects Versions: 3.0
            Reporter: Jarek Gawor
            Assignee: Jarek Gawor

There are 2 problems here:

1) Switching JRE types or versions via server configuration -> Runtime Environment -> JRE causes the server not to start up anymore. The path to JRE doesn't seem to get updated in VM arguments.

2) Switching between JRE definition that really points to JDK directory and not JRE directory can also cause server startup problems.

Jarek Gawor commented on GERONIMODEVTOOLS-745:
----------------------------------------------

In revision 1102362 I committed changes that should address both of these issues. The GERONIMO_HOME and JRE_HOME information is fill-out at the last possible moment before starting the server.
