[jira] [Commented] (LEGAL-395) Using MPL 2.0 packages in Apache Airflow

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-395?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16548455#comment-16548455 ]

Justin Mclean commented on LEGAL-395:
-------------------------------------

As MPL is category B it cannot be bundled in a source release. If you talking about a convenience binary release then it can be included, just add the license text (or a pointer to it) to LICENSE.  Note that the MPL license also requires you notify user where to get the source code I would add this to NOTICE.

> Hi
> I am planning to use a MPL 2.0 package [tqdm | https://github.com/tqdm/tqdm] in the [Apache Airflow | https://github.com/apache/incubator-airflow]. In https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-b, it says that we need to attach an appropriate and prominent label to the distribution. Can you provide an example?
